Pop up Flora and Faun / Pop ap Flore i Fauna

This is our latest project: paper theater play for children created by children. We have been working on this since last summer and had many obstacles cause of our high ambitions and aspirations, which lead us to many different paths on our way to create the script. Finally, we made the story and designed the stage! Here we go! Pop up paper theater in an old TV box!

The story is based on the process of growing up, and since it is a difficult phase which involves decision making, Flora got a dice to help her decide through her many adventures with Faun, the forest fairy boy. But what will happen when suddenly she loses her dice in a big blue sea forever... and many more adventures are still ahead for her...

This was our project that Vlada and I supervised in Art Clinic, with a group of 10 kids and adolescents. Since then, we played only for two times, for children's New years Eve in Art Clinic. See some photos from New years Eve in Art Clinic! Hope you gonna enjoy it!

The Festival of Street Musicians/ Festival uličnih svirača

Vlada and I (seen in our bus in the photo above) created this workshop for Art Clinic as part of the creative and educative program for The Festival of Street Musicians 2012(from 6th till 9th of September). This workshop was designed as interactive performances of little pre-schoolers who acted as conductors to experienced musicians participating at the festival. The kids created for themselves music-box costumes with musical notes on them. Then, they would dictate musical arrangements by rearranging themselves physically and the musicians had to oblige. A truly interactive improvised musical performance presenting the children's spontaneity against the adult's reality.

We had lot of fun together as you can see in the following photos!

CrocoDOCOdile in a little red underwear / Krokodokodil u crvenim gaćicama

The story is about poor Crocodile Kroki who is trying to become an artist. So, he painted all walls in his house, something that  made his parents furious! Sad and disappointed, he run away from home, and on his way got stuck in a tree. This bad luck he understood as punishment for his bad behavior. Being so desperate he started asking each animal in the forest to eat him cause he was a bad croco-boy. But instead of "helping" him, those animals just gave him life advice which when he comprehends, will be freed from the tree.

Our theater play CrocoDOCOdile in a little red underwear is based on story of Serbian famous children writer Dusko Radovic, but we made it funnier and in a our way!

In this project my partner and I worked with 8 young people with whom we adapted the story, created the puppets and scenography using wool as our main material. Our group performed many times in Art Clinic, but also in the street for both kids and their parents with a view towards making cultural events available for everyone.
